I am inspired by the belief that “the value of an idea lies in the using of it.”

I try to use the ideas that are good for people, sound like fun, and — if they make money — that’s cool too. What wakes me up in the morning is taking those ideas and making them a thing.
Taking a feeling, a thought, an intuition, and pushing it into something that didn’t exist before. The work — whatever form it takes — is really just the alchemy of moving an idea through different stages.

And sometimes that same alchemy moves from idea → conversation → collaboration → system → strategy. That is the part of the practice I call Trent — the work of shaping ideas into structures that can live, grow, and involve other people.
